ARE THE PINK DIAMONDS AT THE TRADE CENTRE CERTIFIED BY THE ARGYLE?

Laser inscribed pink diamonds that are 0.08ct and above are accompanied by an official certificate with lot number issued by the Argyle Diamond Mine. This guarantees the authenticity and quality of the diamonds. Argyle Origin and Collectors Editions diamonds are accompanied with a GIA or IGI international diamond certificate.

WHAT GUARANTEES THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE DIAMONDS SOLD AT THE TRADE CENTRE?

We value trust and authenticity. Every pink diamond from 0.08ct and larger are laser inscribed with a unique Argyle ID number and is accompanied with an official Argyle certificate.

Melee pink diamonds under 0.08ct are not individually laser inscribed or certified by the Argyle Mine. Melee stones are sold in a group parcel, packaged in a brifka that bears a number generated and assigned by the Argyle Mine.

An APDTC authenticity certificate featuring the brifka parcel number could be supplied with your diamond.

(a) The diamond specified in the Listing satisfy the requirements for being classified as a diamond by the Argyle.

(b) All information and supporting materials pertaining to the listing must be comprehensive, precise, and devoid of any misleading content.

(c) The submitter or their corporate employer, holds legal ownership of the goods and has the authority to sell them either on their own behalf or as an agent for their corporate employer.

(d) The submitter or their corporate employer, can transfer legal title of the goods without any encumbrances, claims, or liens.

CAN I SELL NON-ARGYLE NATURAL PINK DIAMONDS THROUGH THE TRADE CENTRE?

Currently only diamond that are from the Argyle diamond mine are eligible to be sold through the trade centre.

CAN I SELL AN ARGYLE ORIGIN OR COLLECTORS EDITION PINK DIAMOND THROUGH THE TRADE CENTRE?

Yes, the trade centre except all pink, red and blue diamonds from the Argyle mine providing they have the correct corresponding proof of origin.

WHEN YOU SAY “VIP FEATURED DIAMOND LISTING FOR A SPECIFIC NUMBER OF DAYS,” WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THAT PERIOD?

After the specified duration on the VIP featured diamond page, the diamond will be removed; however, it will remain listed on the diamonds for sale page until it is sold or removed by the client.

CAN I UPGRADE LATER IF I START WITH A CHEAPER PACKAGE AND CHANGE MY MIND?

Once you have selected and paid for your Advertising package you cannot upgrade it. Although you can cancel it and begin a new package.

WHAT DOES THE SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING INVOLVE AND IS IT JUST ONE POST OR ONGOING PROMOTION?

The social media campaign will feature a single, permanent post on both Facebook and Instagram, which will remain active until the diamond is sold. This initiative will be supported by a paid marketing promotion to enhance visibility and engagement.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “UNLIMITED APDTC LISTING”?

This means that your diamond will remain listed on the Australian Pink Diamond Trace Centre’s sales platform until it is sold or removed at your request.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING THE ESCROW AND VERIFICATION SERVICE?

The APDTC escrow service offers a secure and reliable mechanism for facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers, particularly when either party has concerns regarding the safety of transferring funds or goods.

IN THE CHEAPER PACKAGES WHERE ESCROW HAS FEES – HOW MUCH ARE THOSE FEES?

The APDTC escrow service charges a standard fee of $500 plus GST, in addition to any applicable delivery costs, if required.

HOW DOES THE DIRECT SELLER EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER ACCESS WORK?

For both the Standard and Premium packages, as well as optionally for the Ultimate and Ultimate Plus packages, potential buyers will have direct access to the diamond’s owner, similar to the model employed by carsales.com.au for vehicles. This approach enhances negotiation capabilities for both buyers and sellers, as it eliminates sales commissions typically associated with traditional transactions.

IF I USE THE VIP CONCIERGE SERVICE, WHAT PERCENTAGE COMMISSION DO YOU TAKE? IS THAT ON TOP OF THE PACKAGE PRICE?

If the client chooses to use the VIP concierge service which is exclusively available with the ultimate packages. The trade centre will proactively seek clients beyond your existing advertising packages. Should a client be identified and a sale successfully completed, commissions will be applicable in addition to your advertising package price. For diamonds valued under $50,000, a commission rate of 15% will apply; for diamonds valued over $50,000, a commission rate of 10% will be applied.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CHANGE MY MIND AND WANT TO STOP ADVERTISING MY DIAMOND? DO I GET ANY OF MY MONEY BACK?

You may cancel your advertising package at any time; however, please note that no refunds will be issued for cancellations.

CAN I USE THE VALUATION REPORT FOR INSURANCE OR OTHER PURPOSES, OR IS IT JUST FOR SELLING ON APDTC?

The valuation report serves as a critical document for your Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF), insurance requirements and will assists in establishing the market value of your diamond.

IF I ALREADY HAVE GOOD PHOTOS OF MY DIAMOND, DO I STILL NEED THE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS YOU OFFER?

APDTC will evaluate any photographs submitted alongside their diamonds, provided that these images represent the diamonds in the best possible manner.
