On 1 October 2026, Rio Tinto officially announced the transfer of the Argyle Pink Diamonds brand, its intellectual property and remaining inventory to Boodles, the prestigious British fine jeweller founded in 1798. For the Australian Pink Diamond Trade Centre, the timing is particularly significant. Just two weeks earlier, the Trade Centre secured a bespoke tender parcel of premium Argyle pink diamonds from the same Final Curation. According to acquisition records, the diamonds held by the Trade Centre carry the identical certification dates as those acquired by Boodles the new brand owners, establishing a direct link to these historic final generation of Argyle pink diamonds.
With Rio Tinto’s remaining Argyle inventory now transferred to Boodles, the Australian held parcel represents a rare opportunity for investors to acquire historically significant, final generation Argyle pink diamonds through the Trade Centre at genuine wholesale acquisition terms, ahead of the significant price adjustments under the brand’s new retail distribution structure.
